It's almost time for the Olympics of bellezza, the Miss Italia nel Mondo beauty pageant for Italians living outside Italy (not to be confused with the Miss CHIN bikini contest). Beautiful ladies of Italian origin from all over the world vie for the coveted crown once a year at a mega pageant in Italy. So far an italocanadese has never won. Last year's winner was from Moldavia.

Before the mega pageant countries choose their individual beauty ambassador through a series of smaller pageants at the national or even state or provincial level.
