Learn Italian Like Italians Do - Around the Supper Table Tweet
Once a month tutorino staff and students will head to 507 King Street East in the design district for full-immersion Italian conversation practice over a multi-course artisanal meal cooked by Massimo Bruno in his "urban rustic" studio kitchen.
These events will not be open to the public, they are for tutorino students only.
The dinners will be staffed by one native-speaking tutorino teacher per three students, plus Massimo and his assistant Giovanna, all of whom will be talking only in Italian, to give you a "taste" (no pun intended) of what you might experience on a trip to Italy.
Two and a half hours of artisanal Italian food and full-immersion Italian language practice all for the ridiculously low price of $60 per person.
Third Thursday of every month. Start time is 7 PM. Seating for 35 so book early. To reserve your spot, pay your teacher at your next lesson (cash only please, no refunds, only because once you pay we turn other students away and Massimo buys ingredients for you). Please note that wine is not included, pick up a bottle of your favourite grape juice from the LCBO on the way.
Even if you are in the early stages of learning Italian, don't be shy. The best way to start speaking Italian is to hear Italian spoken. And the best place to hear it spoken is where it's spoken most - at an authentic Italian supper table.
